AlastairSMILLIEIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alastair Smillie, who left us peacefully on 5th March 2025, at the age of 74. Born on 26th January 1951, Alastair was a devoted family man, a loyal friend, and a cherished member of the community.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rose-Ena Smillie, and is survived by his loving son, daughters, grandchildren, extended family and many dear friends who will miss him deeply. Alastair's warmth, kindness, and unwavering support touched the lives of all who knew him.
A funeral service to celebrate Alastair's life will be held on Tuesday, 8th April 2025, at 2:00pm at Masonhill Crematorium, Ayr, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.
Alastair will be remembered always with love and gratitude.
